AFLS Summer Camp Program

Associated Family and Life Services, LLC.’s Summer Camp Program provides a stimulating and enriching environment for young children and pre-teen to learn, grow, and explore.  Children in the AFLS Summer Camp Program learn about the world around them by “doing” with hands-on, meaningful experiences.

Our children will enjoy weekly themes that encourage them to think, explore, and learn about various topics throughout the summer.  The themes will allow children to broaden their horizons and learn with hands-on and engaging activities.  Each weekly theme will also include a field experience where children will take their minds to another level and learn about the weekly theme first hand by visiting places and exploring within our own community!

Our schedule allows for on-site “Mind Development” and diverse sub-programs that include science experiments, educational enrichment activities, arts & crafts, and other special activities.  In additional to the field experiences, children will also visit local recreational facilities (i.e. Hoops City, TK’s Jungle, Wheels, Frankie’s, etc.)  Although it is summer camp, we desire to keep the learning circle going during the summer break and having fun at the same time!

AFLS Summer Camp operates for 9 weeks.  You may register for all 9 weeks or just 1 week or any increment threrein.  The weekly summer sessions are as follows:

Summer 2010

  • Session 1: June 7-11
  • Session 2: June 14-18
  • Session 3: June 21-25
  • Session 4: June 28-July 1 (*closed July 2)
  • Session 5: July 5-July 9
  • Session 6: July 12-July 16
  • Session 7: July 19-July 23
  • Session 8: July 26-July 30
  • Session 9: August 2-August 6

Meals (breakfast and lunch) are provided.  All children must bring an afternoon snack daily.  All food brought to camp must be brought in a small labeled cooler or insulated bag (with an ice pack) to protect perishable foods and/or drinks.

Hours of operation are 7:00am-6:00pm.  Late fees apply to all children not picked up by 6:00pm  The late fee is $10 for each 5 minute period.  We will close at 5:00pm on the FOURTH WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH (June 23 & July 28, 2010).
